Oh god, this is absolutely chilling. The way the image of Draco fades out at the end... *shivers* Just brilliant, hon.

Oh wow! This is so beautiful!

I love the colors and how it's so dark and I love Harry's eyes.

When Draco lowers his hood, I was thinking "yes! he looks so hopeful and he's found Harry and yesss!" And that embrace!! It was so powerful and I could sense the feeling coming from Harry as he clutched onto Draco. And then... :(

Ohh, it's so sad, so dark. I especially loved the end where it fades out on Draco as others close in on Harry. The reason I love this the most is because of Draco's obvious guilt at what he's done. He frowns and looks so terribly awful. There is so much going on in this, so many emotions and it's done so well.

Absolutely stunning!! ♥!!

oh, thanks for picking up on that ambiguity! i didn't want draco to appear to be made out entirely of stone at the end despite the wrongness of his act. it makes the whole situation more interesting.

Beautiful job! I love the fade out at the end. Well, actually, I hate it, but I think you know what I mean! So, even though I know better, I still found myself hoping you would have changed the ending somehow!
The betrayel is so cruel, especially given how fragile and vulnerable Harry was at the time. Shame on you for beaking my heart again with this piece!

i could, in the distant future, add an optional sequel. an AU of an AU, as it were. but i'm so satisfied with the ending that i think adding more would sort of ruin it...

thank you so much! i do enjoy crushing hearts... ;]
