Yay! It's up! You know how much I love that you did this...and did it so well. From your excellent use of first person POV, to Draco's IC temper (but understandable), to Harry's dilemma over staying professional or getting personal--all of it gives your story such a realistic but poignant feel ( ... )

Your support through this whole process has been such a blessing.

I always know when you write a story that I'm going to learn something new, and at the same time find excellent writing, strong and believable characterizations, and a wonderful story on top of all that, one that I'll reread again and again. I feel the same way about your work! I love that we find adventure in research and that we are always throwing ourselves in front of a challenge if we think A) it'll be a good time, B) it'll improve my writing chops, or C) all of the above! heh. You've also taught me so much about team work, and helped bait his hermit author out from her writing cave. :D Thank YOU ( ... )

This was delightful! I love Draco here - he's so like himself and not at all disabled in any sense. And Harry! You had me loving him within the first couple paragraphs with his Harry-ness. Plus it was really fun reading about the details about clients and interpreters and the community. In particular, I really liked the dancing scene. =)

Thank you. Most of the Deaf people I know don't identify as disabled at all, and I thought Draco would probably be the same way. He's aware of the challenges and allows frustration to get to him, but never sees himself as 'less than' at all. I'm thrilled you liked Harry's POV too and the glimpse into the lives of interpreters and the Deaf community!
Thanks again!

Luthien, thank you. Your comments mean so much to me. I'm a bit obsessed with seeing what happens when the main characters are challenged, so this was both a great opportunity to explore character development and a wonderful excuse to do some research! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the look into the interpreter/Deaf world as well.
Thank you, again. *hugs*
