"Later, looking back on things, Harry identified that moment as the one when he began to change his mind about Malfoy. The great git had a sense of humor about himself." This feels like something a mature Harry would care about. And - as invincible_sum wrote - the idea of a changling curse for purebloods is inspired. BTW, it's been probably a year or so since I've read much H/D and I'm so happy to see you're still writing such inventive and engaging things. Thank you!!

Thank you!

Harry gets a chance to play the more mature one in this story, while Draco wanders around finding himself. :)

Brilliant story, as always, luv!!!! In my mind you perfectly portray the people Harry and Draco would become. Draco becoming coiled ever tighter and tighter and Harry finding himself more & more free. A complex story and I loved both Astoria and Scorpius. My favorite part... why the ending, of course!!!! I can so picture Draco all disheveled and I ADORE that Harry realizes why he's done it. Absolutely lovely!!!! *hugs*

Thank you!

That's a nice contrast I hadn't even noticed. But Draco is definitely more nervous and Harry more relaxed in this story. Poor Draco, he's trying to fulfill an impossible task by attempting to make himself into Lucius.

I loved the characterizations here and the development of their friendship/relationship. Also, a great plot and use of the prompt.

You show very realistically the 'sins of the father.' In this case, how Lucius raised and treated Draco having repercussions in the next generation with Scorpius. It was wonderful watching Draco change his attitudes toward and behavior with his son as the story progressed. Draco's blinders about himself also fell away thanks to Harry. This is a very hopeful story.

Thank you!

I can't buy that either Harry or Draco would be perfect parents, but I think it would be especially hard for Draco. He has to watch his parents fail in the war and then, probably, suffer after the war, while Harry had other people (if not his bloody family) as role models.
