Dislikes: i very much dislike hate and discrimination/prejudice, when people are rude and mean to others, silly things like when people are near a recycle thing for cans and they opt to throw it in the trash anyway, just i guess inconsiderate things.
Favorite Movies: Edward Scissorhands, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Great Expectations, Amelie, Pan's Labyrinth... i like romantic things that have some sort of melancholy but are filmed in a very aesthetically pleasing way :)
Favorite Music: Interpol, Radiohead, Nirvana, Placebo, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Modest Mouse (especially their old garage style stuff), ie there is too many for me to remember
Favorite Books (other than HDM): The Season of Passage (Christopher Pike), Wasteland (Francesca Lia Block), The Dollanganger series and My Sweet Audrina (V.C. Andrews)
Job/career aspirations: Elementary Teacher with a dash of psychology, and i would like to be a writer and a painter later in life

Personality
What are your strengths?I'm loyal and passionate, I'm good at forgiving, I can understand people and where they are coming from, i'm very intuitive and optimistic, i have a great depth of insight and compassion... i dunnos haha
What are your weaknesses? I am easily prone to jealousy, i need attention and can get easily upset when I don't get it (though i hardly ever show it), I
Describe yourself in five words. idealistic, sensitive, passionate, demanding, indecisive
How do you think others see you? usually shy sweet person with a touch of the crazies
Are you a leader or a follower? I prefer to be a leader, but i usually like to be a loner
Are you more outgoing or shy? depends on the situation, but overall shy
What causes you stress? How do you relax? People. As much as i love them i take so much stuff to heart and so sometimes it's hard for me to reach out and connect, and i get anxiety really bad when i have to... To relax i cry it out, or try to distract myself with a book or game.
How do you deal with conflict? I keep it in and just try my best to make things better without freaking out... conflict is usually where my leadership qualities shine.
When do you feel most comfortable? When i'm at home and i don't have to worry about the world outside
Who or what is most important to you?My Love first, and then everyone and everything else. Everyone is important in their own way.
What are you good at? understanding people, seeing the beauty of my surroundings and situations, Being able to dream.
What do you wish you were better at? being around people haha, i wish i could make decisions without being scared of all the possible outcomes if i make the wrong one, And i wish i didn't hold onto my feelings of melancholy as much
What do you hope to achieve in your life? So very very much. I want to be an elementary teacher so that i can help children develop the skills to make their lives later on easier, and i hope through my writing and art that i can share some of the beauty i see with others.
The Books
When did you first read His Dark Materials? i was about 8 or 9 so...1997-8 or so?
What do you like about the books? the story was absolutely amazing, the Golden Compass was incredible, and it was one of the few trilogies where each book in turn was jsut as good as the first.... i also loved the idea of daemons... i always wanted a pet
Who is your favourite character? Why? I'm not sure i really had one... i sort of found something i liked in each one, but if i HAD to choose, I'd just say Lyra
Who is your least favourite character? Why?i hate to say this but i was never a big fan of Lord Asriel... I'm not sure why, it just seemed like he always made everything so darn difficult...
Of all the worlds mentioned in the books, which would you most like to visit?mmm i suppose the Eden in the last book near the end... can't remember what it was called, but it seemed so peaceful and beautiful.
