I sit and listen to the President's address...and I am sick

It's not that I'm a liberal--leftists are closer to socialism than they realize--or that I "hate" the President. I voted for him. Twice. And, given the landscape of prospective 2008 candidates, I would vote for him a third time, if I could. Is he perfect? No. Far from it. But, this is another argument, to be had at another time

We have differing views on our president, but that is what makes the world go 'round. However, I too was relieved that it would not be political. And then I watched. And I wanted to shake him and scream at him for being so uncaring. *sigh*.

I would tend to think that if he's talking about war or his presidency, he's talking politics.
