I sit and listen to the President's address...and I am sick

It's not that I'm a liberal--leftists are closer to socialism than they realize--or that I "hate" the President. I voted for him. Twice. And, given the landscape of prospective 2008 candidates, I would vote for him a third time, if I could. Is he perfect? No. Far from it. We have differing views on our president, but that is what makes the world go 'round. However, I too was relieved that it would not be political. And then I watched. And I wanted to shake him and scream at him for being so uncaring. *sigh*.

you are most definitely a good one; I turned the tv off after 3 minutes or so of him reading and listened to the soothing music that luther vandross made back in the day.

I would tend to think that if he's talking about war or his presidency, he's talking politics.
