did this pic today for fun.i've discovered the joys of using live trace in illustrator.it makes lines look so frikking sexy.don't know how to do much else so any tips an' tricks for illustrator would be appreciated.

thanks tom.that's a wicked site for illustrator stuff.i'll check out sketchup and manga studio too.although i don't want my work to be too computerised,i like to keep things simple.thanks for the help my man.

No worries mate, I'm the same - I like my art to look like I did it, not the PC! I seem to go through bouts of using the PC more though, I think it's definately a case of knowing when and where to use it to save time - For example sketch up to get a wierd perspective background sorted, but not to fart about doing stuff you know you could draw easily. I've only used Manga studio so far to add speedlines to an already hand inked page, and for the 3-4 minutes of farting about with settings in it, I saved about 40 minutes of inking work ( ... )
