All exits are blocked. This city feels moreso like a gathering place than for inhabitance.

The ticking has grown quieter upon having company, meaning the limited immortality would most likely hold true as well. Is this also the work of Kaen and Yoshito?

Machi, we need to find a building for temporary residence.

Of course.

Any of the remaining eleven buildings will be suitable.

I take it you're new here? I'm Ootori Kyoya, nice to meet you.

I must confess the concept of "immortality" in the City is more of a farce. While the body will be restored after receiving fatal injuries, you will be forever imprisoned here. Which means, while all your comrades may be able to leave when an exits appears, if you were to "die" here, you will not be able to return. (You'll have to forgive my redundancy, but I feel it is essential in this case so that I may be clear.)

There is however, a loophole to this situation: If one's body is "killed" but the original "soul" of the person owning the body is not present at the time, the person won't die. This situation presented itself during "Body Swapping Day," when an individual decided to take ... liberties.... with my leader's body...

... Kyoya. Why are you running around telling everybody about that traumatic time in my life?

It's merely a point of information, Tamaki.

And it would only have been traumatic if you really died. But you're still here. You're the only living proof of this loophole.

IT WAS TRAUMATIC AT THE TIME BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS DEAD. You wound me. T__T
