Fighting with this character: Go ahead. Just know that Mezumaru is no physical fighter, so there’ll be a lot of running, dodging and manipulating others to fight in his stead from his end.
Injuring this character: Is okay, but please in measures. Like most youkai Mezu is very difficult to seriously injure, but he does feel pain and maimed/torn off limbs are still a very serious issue to him (if it happens to himself).

Using telepathy/empathy/whatever else reading abilities on this character: Same as above. Canon says that Mezu’s pretty good at avoiding them up to a certain level.
Is there anything YOU DO NOT WANT MENTIONED near this character?: Not really. The way his face looks is a touchy topic that he’d rather avoid, though.
Is there anything you need us to KNOW about interacting with this character? Special physical features, fighting abilities, STUFF:
- Appearance: Mezumaru is a bit peculiar about his face. He developed a notable skill to hide the better part of it with his strange headgear and the shadow it casts ALL.THE.TIME (while still having no problems to see everything).
- Character: Mezumaru tends to act and speak very childish most of the time and is generally amiable, but you’d do good never to forget that he has been holding a high position in a militant youkai clan for over four hundred years by now. Beware of the cruel mind behind the cutesy-naïve exterior!
- Interaction: He has inherited his dismissive non-interest in humans from his master Gyūki, but is clever curious and open-minded enough to show interest in them from time to time. Any human interacting with him does well to remember that they’re still ‘prey’ for him at the end of the day, though. Similarly, Mezumaru shares Gozumaru’s high pride of their clan and will scoff at other youkai and the like, albeit not as openly as the latter.
- Abilities: Mezumaru serves specializes in manipulation and can control the minds, bodies and hearts of whoever is caught by them with his strings. He also acts as a highly skilled bait and decoy and is an excellent support fighter who does best when he works with his chosen partner Gouzmaru, but is not dependant on him. Last but not least he also serves as a buffer for Gozumaru’s occasional overzealousness and is quite good at disguising himself as a human. HOWEVER: he has no single physical offensive or defensive skill.
