I loved Tin Man on sci fi, and thought it was truly amazing :D My favourite character was Glitch played by the Amazing Alan Cumming. Some people have wrote some really great fanfics and got inspired to write a little one of my own.
This is really kinda a continuation from the mini series and Glitch is thinking about wether to get his brain back or not, if he can? This really is a DG/Glitch shipped fanfic but has some tiny little mentions a Cain/DG for the Cain/DG fans to be happy about :P
The forgetful advisor sat on the cold floor of the sunseeder control room, staring gloomily at the jar that held his brain, the green glow shining on his pale skin.
“Glitch, you’ve got to be the smartest man I know.”
Glitch mused on that thought, no matter how much he disagreed with that thought, it still made him smile as much as the first time DG said it.
Glitch didn’t know why, but whenever he was around the princess he felt happier then he’d ever been, well of what he could remember anyhow.
Glitch stroked the cold metal zip running across his head and frowned, he knew it was stupid, the princess would never like somebody so useless, but it didn’t stop him wishing.
He saw the way the princess was with the tin man, the way she looked up to him, and every time Glitch got this strange feeling inside him. He closed his eyes trying to picture the word, jeal- jealousy? Was that it? Was that the feeling that locked Glitch’s heart every time she was with him?
No, of course not. DG and Cain were Glitch’s friends, well at least DG was, he should be happy for them. I mean Cain would be perfect for DG, right?
Glitch closed his eyes, trying to imagine himself like Cain. He was stronger, braver, better? At least he could remember things, never having people getting frustrated with him for forgetting stuff.
Glitch remembered the faces DG and the rest used to pull whenever he forgot stuff; he knew it was frustrating for them, heck it was frustrating for him too, but the thought of his brain getting back, completely terrified the advisor.
He knew it wasn’t a complete stranger in the jar, but it sure felt like it. After only being connected to it for three minutes terrified the man. He was so strict, so cold, so not Glitch, well at least he thought so.
Ambrose, the name whirred around Glitch’s half a brain. No matter how many times he said it, he just couldn’t get used to it, but maybe DG could? Glitch thought about it, DG could never love somebody as useless as Glitch, but Ambrose on the other hand was the complete opposite.
He stared thoughtfully at his brain wondering if this was what DG wanted. A non glitching Glitch, a guy that could actually remember his name, did DG want Ambrose?
