Last night I had trouble sleeping, so I watched Oldboy, I've had it for the longest time and have wanted to see it for the LONGEST.. Just never really had the time to, I'm weird when it comes to movies, I have to be in a particular mood for them. Wow, I just watched Oldboy last week before going to sleep (so I thought it was interesting that you just watched it too)

HOLY SHIT.

Here's the weirdest coincidence: I just watched Oldboy for the first time last night MYSELF. It was like a week overdue and I just finally found the time.

On the ending.. since he smiled, do you think he was the 'beast' instead of 'Oh Daesu'?

Also, the hallway fight was really awesome.

Are Mr. Vengeance/Lady Vengeance worth watching?

Too be honest... I'm not sure, it could be a number of things, maybe the beast couldn't go away? Maybe all that was left was the beast? Maybe it really is Oh Daesu but he still remembers everything.

Yes that fight was amazing, I loved how it was recorded it looked so raw.

That's cool. I like how the movie leaves the ending up to interpretation. Did you watch the deleted scenes? There's a few with Woo-jin and the Hypnotist.

Yeah. Like how the guys kept falling but getting back up again. Apparently it took 3 days to shoot since it's all a oneshot.

I'll have to look around for both of them.
