It really is big, isn't it? I haven't seen it for so long, I'd forgotten how immense it actually is.

First, I like that you're working on it again.

Second, I like how you are viewing the whole project. I thought about something, though, just a minute ago. You could easily switch the names around and get meaning from it. If the big one was Goliath, it could be seen as the historically accredited and massive bulk of tradition. David, the little one, could be the unexpected champion/hero who came out of nowhere, from nothing to being crowned King. (I know, doesn't fit your intent, but interesting how it works both ways.)

Third, keep up the good work. You deserve to complete that damned thing.

When we stayed up there with you guys, the times I was awake during the night due to the retarded-sleepers, I just laid there and stared at that painting trying to make out as many little details as I could in the little light there was. I came to the conclusion that I like it a lot.
