Second Bite [open commentlog]

[Drusilla has been drawn out of her room by all the negative energy on the boat and is now wandering the halls.]

"I  was walking in the park one day... In the merry, merry month of May... I was taken by surprise, by a pair of roguish eyes... In a moment, my poor heart was stole away..."

[She hums contentedly.]

Dear, dear, loves... you do get ( Read more... )

[Odette needs to die is on her way to the third deck, comm in hand and debating whether or not to talk to Derek.

She can hear Drusilla singing, but decides to ignore her. Come and get it, Drusilla. She's as about as innocent as they come.]

[Drusilla could have smelled Odette a deck away. So sweet...

The vampire rounds a corner to see the girl and smiles sweetly.]

On your way somewhere, dear?

[Odette feels the hair on her arms raise when she spies Drusilla. She remembers Zelda's advice about not telling everyone about her curse.

She remains firm. If she can stand up to Rothbart, she can stand up to this woman.]

I am. And I'm in a hurry, so you'll have to excuse me.

[Dru steps closer to the young lady, eying her carefully. Something feels... off about her. But her blood is still human. And still smells sickeningly tasty.]

I don't know about that... Why not... plan on just never getting there?

[And she steps closer still, reaching out to touch Odette's hair with the fascination of a child.]

[Sulphur's only out of her room because of these god-damn hallucinations. She'd been keeping herself well-confined as they raged on, but then --

-- then she saw Lindsey. And she had to follow her. Through the halls and up and down the stairs ... she was always too far ahead, and as fast as Sulphur moved, she never seemed to get any closer.]

Liiiiindseyyyy, wait up ... please ...

[She lets out a soft whine and kicks up her pace in an attempt to catch up. Poor thing has no idea she's going to end up running into something that's going to tear her throat out, baw.]

[Drusilla was feeling somewhat content from her first snack, but it had been so long since she fed that she was still hunting... The princess had been a treat, though.

The demoness feels a slight bump as a small thing comes out of nowhere and smacks into her. She doesn't falter or fall, but instead keeps her balance like a statue and turns to face the creature.

And what a pretty creature it is...]

Why, hello...

[Oh. Um. This lady is creepy. And she's also not Lindsey. Sulphur blinks slowly, ears lowering and tail swaying behind her.]

Sorry ... didn't mean to ...

[She is SO OUT OF IT right now, can't you tell?]

[Dru smiles slowly and reaches to touch the girl's chin.]

That's alright, love... All can be forgiven.

[Due to fact that for the last forever Gertie has been unable to touch anything she enjoys without perpetually killing it, the child is probably roaming the decks and trying to avoid people.

Especially when she's speaking uncontrollably in German. Which, by her experience on the boat, is a bad thing-- because no one will understand her. She doesn't want to confuse people, Gertie doesn't want to upset people by uncontrollably mumbling to them in long strings of absolutely nothing they would understand.

But even her best attempts to avoid people didn't stop Gertie from peeking eyes up at a singing vampire. Before she can really think coherently, there's some spouting in German. A lot of it sounds sweet-- like compliments on the voice.]

[Drusilla is surprised by this newest friend. Younger than the first two, but still just as precious.

And this one babbles in German. How exotic. Luckily (or unluckily), Drusilla has been alive far too long to have not learned German.]

Thank you, pet... You're far too kind a creature... A little angel, I would guess.

Ah--! You speak German! Oh my you are the first one here! Well besides Mimmi, she does not count well,..because of the obvious. She is my..sister and we are both from Germany so she knows it fluent as well. But but but! You are the first one that speaks it fluently! That--

[Eagerly breaks out into a smile. Someone's excited to have met a person who speaks her own damn language.]

[Drusilla smiles at the child and reaches out to pet her hair. So charming...]

What a sweet thing. Perhaps we shall have be friends, then, pet.

[Anna also needs to die has been hallucinating all day; she's seen members of the Facility coming after her, her mother in the halls, and a strange man she's never met watching her every move. He's there even now, leaning against the wall with a brow raised as if he's expecting something from her.

She's been trying to avoid him and duck out of sight but he's always there, sometimes laughing, sometimes just following and smiling. She's so concentrated on staying way from him, she doesn't notice another person until she runs smack into her. Oops?]

[Drusilla barely falters at the disturbance. She's practically floating, giddy from the rush of feeding. She's practically crazier when she's well fed than when she's hungry... if that's possible.]

Why... hello , there, lamb...

[She glances over the woman's shoulder.]

Running from a monster, are you?

[...Well, that's weird. She blinks and tries to focus on the person she just ran into, and not the man standing behind her.]

Ah...I'm sorry, I did not see you. [Looking behind her, Anna shivers.]

I am not sure. He has been following me.

[Drusilla tilts her head just so. She doesn't see anyone beyond the woman herself.

Well... this could be interesting. Drusilla hears voices and this woman sees the people they belong to.]

Oh, my... that can't be accepted at all. I can protect you, dear.

[She gently and briefly brushes the woman's face, her fingers feeling like water at the touch.]
