it's a warning, type: nightmare, why me, aliens changed me, the horror, aliens are scary, nyaah, scary scary, !dream, they're gonna take over, izaya is an alien?!?!

[he hadn't meant to watch the dream. in fact he had no idea that's what it was, but as he was about to hang up, he heard two things:

1) Celty's voice. he had only "heard" it once before a while back, but he had almost forgotten about it. particularly since...well. Celty doesn't talk. but once he realizes he's probably invading her privacy and was about to hang up -- making a mental note to apologize later -- that was when he heard...

2) ........that flea. he completely misses the alien statement because of Izaya's voice and when he saw that bastard's face well.

there would be the sound of something cracking on his end of the line. most likely the phone in his hand. as well as the audible sound of his teeth clenching and possibly his free hand's knuckles cracking.

in a word (well two technically), Shizuo was not happy.]

I'll fucking kill him.

[Anri hadn't actually seen the dream yet - well, she'd been sleeping at the same time - but the movement beside her shook her awake. She opened her eyes to see the cat... well, Celty, on her bed beside her.]

[She reached over, lightly petting the cat's belly - she's not sure what to do, really, but if she's having a bad dream, wouldn't it be best to wake her up?]
