"He's...." She trailed off, blushing - saying something like really gorgeous was utterly true, but also seemed kind of skeevy. She normally wasn't this on edge or polite, it was just... Xander had told her so much about her, and Jill was almost expecting her to have a halo or for flowers to spring up from where she walked. This was Buffy, and... if Buffy didn't like her, she didn't really know what Xander would do, but she didn't really think he'd just descide that it was all completely fine and the greatest thing in the world.
"Very handsome." That seemed safe.

"Yeah," Buffy said, eying her a bit. It wasn't exactly suspicious, she was just trying to figure out who the hell was asking. The island population was big enough, now, that there was no way someone could really know everyone, and she really didn't look like she was from Sunnydale.
"I'm... sorry. I don't know you, do I?"

"I'm one of his Titans." It wasn't that it was silly or anything, it was just... that half of her wanted to say I'm training with the Titans, but that was wrong. She was one of them, no matter what.
"And- I mean. Xander-" Jill didn't even realise she was kind of wringing her hands in her shirt. "We're- I've heard a lot about you." Which might explain why Jill looked like she was face to face with a lion that might decide she was lunch.
