Mrs Parkinson,

I have sent an owl to Marcus Flint, requesting that he arrive at the infirmary this evening to sign the custody form you sent me and collect Pansy and the necessary medications and instructions. I will keep the form on file here until he and your daughter return to the school on Sunday.

Sincerely,
Poppy Pomfrey

Mr Flint,

Please come to the infirmary this evening. Miss Parkinson will be remanded to your custody at this time, and I will give you the necessary medications and instructions as to her care.

[Note to Minerva]
(included with the note is a copy of the custody form signed by Mrs Parkinson)

Minerva,

Pansy Parkinson's mother has just sent me an owl, asking that her daughter be remanded to the care of Marcus Flint until she is ready to return to classes. The earliest I would allow her to return would be next week. As the request (and the original of this temporary custody form) came directly from her mother, I will have to release Miss Parkinson into Mr Flint's care on Wednesday evening. However, since the girl will be leaving school grounds until Sunday evening, I thought you should be informed.

I will prepare all the necessary medications and an administration schedule to give to Mr Flint. If you like, I can send you a copy as well.

Poppy

[Private]
Well, that's that. She'll be out of my hands for the rest of the week.

I do hope that Mr Flint has some idea of what he's getting into. If he doesn't...well, he'll soon find out. Nursing an seriously ill invalid is a far cry from slapping an ice pack onto the backside of a bruised teammate.
