Still here, just crazy busy with the kids, who are 7, 3 and nearly 2.

I thought you guys had broken up awhile ago, but living in next-door houses or something? But now that's all done, I suppose.

Oh Hey Dustin. Nice to hear from you. My exwife and I definitely stayed broken up...and the living on the same property thing ended as soon as I fell in love with someone else. Then she and I lived together for the last year and that was the valiant effort I was referring to actually. All I can say is that blended family living can be very challenging.

Yeah, so now it's the kids and I here in NC half the time and the rest of the time I spend focussed on healing work and poetry. Are you a full time dad?

Essentially yes, I am a full-time dad. I like to pretend that I have time for other pursuits in my spare time, but truth be told, my spare time can be numbered in minutes these days, it seems. I think in another couple years I'll be more normal. I'm enjoying the intensive kid time mostly, though. The ages of the boys are quite trying a lot of the time, but I've tried to turn that into a sort of spiritual practice in itself, to be honest.

Sometimes that works! :)

Sounds like you're doing well though, and that's cool. Glad to hear that. Good luck with your poetry stuff, too. From that other blog, I think I saw that you were trying to get some of it published, maybe.

I know right where you are at. I was a full time stay at home homeschooling dad for 5 years and it was so sweet. Being with them was a powerful spiritual practice for being in the moment.

Yes, I am putting the work out there and seeing if it is mean to be.
