[Thursday | Late Night]

Tonight's English homework is really hard; I don't have any idea how I'm going to finish it.

I kept trying to find other things to do so I could put it off, but now all the rest of my homework is done, and this is all that is left.

I really don't understand this stuff.

kagami, ramui, yukari, journal, takashi, touya

Ramui was lounging around and then spoted Yukari in her room, with only the door slightly open he decided to knock on it. "Heeey, Yukari-chan, how's it going? Haven't seen you in a while." He smiled hoping he had permission to enter.

Yukari's concentrating on her homework when a voice startles her from the papers before her. "Oh, hey!"

She had been looking for some excuse to get away from the verbs and nouns and particles, and there it stood in the doorway.

"Just working on English homework. I really have no idea how we're supposed to do all of this in just one night."

"Ohh really, what are you stuck on?" Ramui walks in taking a glance at the room. "..wow pretty nice room you have, compaired to mine it's pretty plain." he sighed wondering if he should do something about that one day. "I finished most of my english work so maybe I can help?"

"Thanks," Yukari beams. "Actually, I just finished putting everything together two nights ago. You wouldn't believe what it looked like before I got here." Not pink, that was for sure!

"I finished most of my english work so maybe I can help?"

"That would be nice," Yukari says. "I usually don't have much trouble with it, but the verb tenses always get me so confused. 'Being' and 'am',"
she says, speaking the two words in English, "I don't really understand what the difference is. "And 'walks' and 'walking'--I don't understand those two either. I mean, they're both present tense, right?"

(Wandering around the halls with a bundle of papers under his arms)

"Well, that seemed to be a good deal... I wonder if anyone else needs English homework done in an interesting way?"

He raised his voice.

"Attention! Will do English homework in your choice of ancient dead language in return for one deep dark secret! Limited time offer!"

Sure no prob ^_^ I'd understand if Yukari had the urge to stay in the room and avoid Touya though :P

Yukari spends the next few minutes trying to ignore it, but Touya's voice is something that she's finding difficult to ignore.

How is she supposed to concentrate on her English homework with all of this noise?

She opens the door and pokes her head out.

"Hey, do you think you could you keep it down?"

[ooc: Sorry for the belated reply! I'm going to be out starting at about 12:30 CST, so don't be surprised if it takes some time.]

You probably have no idea who I am (yet). I'm Tachibana Kagami--just moved in. Out of the randomness of everything I'd like to give you complete sympathy.

(I hate English.)

And so, hn. Good luck with that.

It wouldn't be so hard if it weren't for the verbs. I mean, how are we supposed to understand difference between 'being' and 'am'? It's not like we're ever going to use it, anyway!

I agree completely. I cannot comprehend why simple English will not do for everyday conversation. Its not like most English-users follow the subject-verb rules all the time, anyway.

...

...I feel relieved to hear someone complain about English. My sister adores the subject, so I can't really say anything bad about it.
