Have any of you tried HIIT (high intensity interval training)? I'm looking into it because i had a major speed bump and despereatley want to lose the last 15-20 pounds. I have no idea what Turbo Fire is, but you can do HIIT on almost any cardio machine or with any exercise. I used to do it on the elliptical, 30 seconds of easy low resistance followed by 30 seconds of higher resistance going as hard as possible. If you're doing it right, the first time you'll probably have to stop at 4 minutes because you'll want to barf (seriously). Go an extra minute each time, up to like 15 minutes.

Honestly, I don't do it much anymore because I hate it. HIIT is some intense shit. I'm sure it works great if you're motivated enough though.

I'm doing Turbo Fire and am currently on week 12. It is intence. I've only lost a few pounds doing it but I have noticed a huge difference in my body shape and I've lost a few inches. I absolutely LOVE the HIIT workouts with Turbo Fire and yes, you sometimes do feel like puking but it feels so good to push your body that hard and realize just how much you can do.

I also do HIIT training on my elliptical. Usually, if I do a 30 minute program I will through 6-8 one minutes HIITS in there and it really makes me sweat a lot. You can do HIIT training with anything (running, biking, walking, etc) so you don't need to spend the money but I do highly recommend Turbo Fire.

Turbo Fire is definitely on my list of to-get workouts.

I currently do both Turbo Jam and ChaLEAN Extreme and I love it. I think I just have a thing for Chalene Johnson or something. TF is definitely much more intense than both TJ and CE, but it is probably the cardio boost I need.

I definitely say go for it. Definitely remember to bring your energy with you.

Here's Jillian Michael's 2 cents from the March "Self":
High-intensity interval training is a top torcher, whether your cardio of choice is running, biking or something else. Intervals allow your body to zap more calories during a session. HIIT also cranks up your postworkout sizzle, burning as many as 120 calories after you throw in the tower.
Of course, HIIT is aptly named: it's highly intense and pushes your body to the max; more than 30 minutes of "killing it" is hard to sustain. Therefore, it's not a good idea to do intervals every day. Your muscles need a break to recover... To recharge, alternate days of HITT with days of low- to moderate- intensity cardio: jog at an easy pace or walk briskly.
