Questions About Cravings

I always crave ice cream during finals! It's one I'm fighting off so I can treat myself with something really delicious later, but I don't know if I'm going to make it til next week lol.

So some questions:
Do you have any reoccuring cravings?
Why do you think you have them?
Do you indulge or do you resist?
Why or why not? :)

an interesting book to read on this subject is Dr. David Kessler's An End To Overeating. He talks about the chemically addictive nature of sugar, salt and fat and what goes on in our brains when we eat them.
I also try to think about the behavioral addiction of eating - so for example, if I realize I'm always eating unhealthy food at a certain time, I'll try to at least make myself wait until another time, or go in the dining room and sit at the table to eat, in order to break that association of certain TV show with sugar, or browsing a certain website with snacking.
