Talk of the Nation: Science Friday had an interesting segment on body fat this week.  I knew that waist circumference is a good predictor of cardiac risk (the fatter you are in the waist, the higher your risk).  I didn't know that when people have liposuction in other parts of their bodies, the fat tends to come back in the waist!

Have to say thats the first time I have seen a graphic that shows body fat deposits on the back. Thats a bit of an eye opener.
