The big 'Z'....I was teary eyed reading this review because I miss Zankou Chicken so much. Born and raised in LA this was often dinner of choice for my family. So good and not bad for you either. We used to dine at the Zankou Chicken in Hollywood across from the famous Barnsdall Art Center.
I have been in the bay area for almost 10 years and have never come across anything quite like Zankou...This area lacks a lot of great places like that...Damn I miss LA.

indeed. the table next to us had some serious eaters as well. they were female, though.
