Just an FYI: nope, not dead... but many of you have probably noticed that I've not updated here in a long time. I'm not sure if I will anymore; my goals have changed and I'm in a different place in life. I've got a new job, which keeps me busy, and I'm trying not to "diet" anymore

I have a question for you though--am I wrong in remembering that you utilized mostly an elliptical machine at the gym for your cardio workouts? I have a bunch of free weights because of my FIRM videos and I subscribe to SELF which includes a new resistance workout in every issue on cool pull out cards that I'd like to use for my weight training when the SELF Challenge begins later this month....is the elliptical going to be enough for my cardio workouts do you think?

I think utilizing an elliptical is absolutely sufficient for cardio, so long as you are getting your heart rate up consistently!
If you end up getting one, I'll be really curious to see what you get. Phil and I are considering converting an area of our apartment to a gym area, and I think we're going to get an elliptical. I'm just not sure how much I want to spend. I know there is a huge range, and I don't want to spend too much, nor do I want to spend too little and get something crappy!

Yep, I feel ya on 125 being the curse! I'm really trying to accept it... not easy, but I know that if I work on accepting myself, I'll be sooooo much happier!
