The weekend wasn’t terrible, but I did have a few indiscretions.
Friday was good as I worked out after work and Brett and I made dinner. We had steak, mushrooms sautéed in olive oil, baked sweet potato topped only with lime juice (soo good, seriously, try it) and light frozen broccoli and cheese. I only had one glass of wine as well. (Brett had three)

Saturday was worse. We went to a burger place for lunch, but I got a turkey sandwich with Swiss instead of a burger. I did get sweet potato fries, but I had a salad with vinegar as an appetizer instead of the cheese sticks everyone else had. Later that night we went to a bar where I had a cider. Then we did a late dinner at Outback. I was good with the bread but I did pick at the Aussie Cheese Fries which are so freaking terrible for you. I am still kicking myself for eating them. I also had a Sangria and a chopped blue cheese salad. Sunday was good as we ate at home and were careful about what we ate, other than me tearing into the baked ruffles.

I was good in going for a walk on Saturday and keeping to my alcohol limit. Plus, I was conscious about my decisions, except for the cheese fries and when I kept picking at the sourdough bread while cooking last night.

I have a bit of a tough weekend eating and workout wise ahead, so I though I would plan it out now.

Monday:-No issues. Will work out and eat like normal

Tuesday-won’t be able to work out after work AND going out to dinner. Plan: Do 25 minute core tape in the morning and 25 on elliptical at lunch. Plus, part of my date with Brett on Tuesday is ice skating, so I can do that for an hour as well. That burns lots of calories. Plus, eat a light lunch.

Wednesday: No time to workout after work and I have a dinner that is likely to have booze and an unhealthy buffet. Plan: Get up at 5:30 and take 30 minute walk around Brett’s neighborhood. Do 25 minutes on elliptical at lunch. Be stingy with casseroles in buffet and only have one piece of dessert. No booze at buffet either! Eat a veggie filled lunch.

Thursday: No issues but to help with all the bad days around me I will get up early and do the core tape..

Friday: Fancy dinner with Brett for my birthday. I can still work out after work out for an hour since our dinner reservations are at 8. Brett wants to go all out with appetizers, dinner, dessert and an expensive bottle of wine. That means I need to be extra good when I can during the week.
