[Bobby's sitting on the front porch of his house in Smallville. He looks like a man sitting in his rocker, enjoying the sunset, but he's actually very troubled. He's just quiet about it. It's how he is.

He knows Lana will be coming over soon. She's like one of his, just like the boys are, and he tends to just...know these things. And he's worried. Because he's afraid to talk out loud. He wasn't ready to admit that his boys were gone. Sam was off with Lex Luthor, and Dean had left town.

Bobby feels like a father that has failed. Only...he's not really anyone's father, is he?]

[Of course Lana's coming over, because blood or not, as far as she's concerned, Bobby Singer is her father. He's the one who's been her for her through everything and he's earned it.
