♈ AA: Anytime; Action Anywhere[She's completely disoriented. She's got her troll body back for some reason. She's glad she did though. The air is terrible and everything seems a lot harsher suddenly

[Aradia has no idea what it is. She looks back at him.]
Nuclear war? I don't know what that is. I know what war is, but what does the nuclear part of it mean?
It doesn't sound good though! Those people are screaming. But we can't get over there can we? [She doesn't seem disturbed, so much curious and slightly worried. She's used to death. But she doesn't understand what this is.]
Does Aradia have her troll body?walking_nukeNovember 26 2011, 07:33:11 UTC
[Balin glances over at the cloud for a moment before looking back at Aradia.]
I'm guessin' you ain't from a world with'at kinda tech, yeah?
[Well, he's already had to explain it to Caesar, so-]
If you've got bombs where you're from, imagine one'at causes a fireball so intense it's like'a sun's takin' a vacation on Earth. Big enough to wipe out an entire city.
[He glances back over at the mushroom cloud, nodding at it.]
That's what'at is. Anybody over'ere's prolly been vaporized.
... 'Least, if'is weren't Mayfield, that's what I'd normally say. Judgin' from what happened to'is town we oughta be dead, too.
Yes! She looks like a troll, but she doesn't get the perks from it.heardeadpe0pleNovember 26 2011, 07:57:27 UTC
No. I guess not! Troll life is much different from human life, I've noticed.
So you think whatever caused that cloud is also causing all the homes and drones to get destroyed? There must be a good reason why they left us unharmed then!
*Before Aradia can leave Mayfield, though, she's approached by a familiar figure - one who's currently trying to track down all their friends.* Aradia. Aradia, where are you going?
[Oh Hugs! She can dig this. Hugging back, because that's what friends do right?]
I'm okay! I was just surprised. Suddenly my entire hive wasn't there...again. Is this going to be an ongoing theme by the way? I'd like to be prepared if I'm to constantly expect my hive to just decide to not exist anymore. [Twice. Man. This is not just coincidence. Her hive is just unlucky.] I guess it isn't just me since all the hives are gone though.
I didn't get hurt. Maybe some scratches when I was getting through the rubble. How about you? You're okay?

[Balin sounds somewhat disturbed, and somewhat angry, but oddly a little too comfortable with what's happened. Like he's seen it regularly.]
I bet it's'a screams of'a damned.
[He approaches Aradia, mindful of the debris strewn everywhere.]
Welcome to nuclear war.

[She wants to get closer to the cloud somehow.]
Is this as far as we can go?

Clouds don't scream. Usually.

Are you unharmed?

I was headed towards that cloud. It's kind of interesting. It might help us understand what's going on.

Perhaps it might, but it does look slightly... ominous.

Should we keep going? I want to see if we can fix this. There must be something we can do here!

Have you theen any of the otherth?

No, not really. I got a little distracted by the cloud. I think there's something over there. It seems so out of place otherwise.
I wonder how close we can get to it though. [Going towards the ominous giant cloud. Good decision skills.]
