There's a new puzzle posted. It's called The_One. When you click on it, it has a link to a livejournal entry. No idea what it means yet.

If you watched the season 3 premiere online, (don't worry, I'm not about to spoil you) but on campus there was a "Retake the Night" event, just like at helpmeveronica.com

Where is everybody? It doesn't seem as if anyone is working on this at all.

I've been working on it, just not getting anywhere. Trying to focus on "The One" and how it could fit in with "mellon6" and his/her bizarre rambling message.

And remember, we're probably looking for a compound word, ten letters or less, for the password.

The problem is that there are no obvious 'hooks' to tell us what the puzzle-part is. I've googled all kinds of stuff with no luck. It just seems to be a random spew of thoughts.

Okay, the one name that I found that means "manly" and has an 'R' sound in it is Carlos.

Well spoke too soon.. several names mean 'manly' and have 'R' sounds:

Brand, Manly-related. (Old Norse, Old English) "Sword; fiery torch, beacon."

Fergall, meaning Manly. (Irish, Gaelic) "Brave, manly."

Mariano, meaning Manly. (Spanish, Latin) "Manly." ...

Mario, meaning Manly. (Latin) "Manly." ...

If it's Mario, his girlfriend might be "Pauline" (from Nintendo)

If I recall correctly, Charles means "Little Manly One." That's got an R sound too.

Well, lists of keywords that long usually lead to dictionary sites. Maybe try some subsets? Have we done anything with the title?

Title? What title? And believe me I have tried subsets. I guess once again I haven't hit that single magic webpage that contains the right answer. If I sound cranky, it's because I am. :)

Title of the puzzle? Those have proven useful in the past, have they not?

No Where Yet. I have tried all kinds oc word combos. I have googles till my fingers smoked. I just cannot find a connection. Googled Marxism and got a link to some kind of a book. Read the descript and diddn't see where is was relevant. I even posted the Dictionary.com meaning of the word. I couldn't make a connection and I am guessing no one else did either.
