"I'm sorry Tatsuya."
"Why Ryo? Why are you doing this?"
"I love Uchi. I've always loved him, Tatsuya. You were just a replacement, and now that he's back.. I don't need you anymore. Let's end this." Ryo said calmly, staring impatiently at him.
"No..."
"I hope you'll find your happiness someday."
The door closed and he was gone. Gone forever.

Ueda couldn't hold back his tears. Warm liquid flowed down his cheeks as he fell to the floor. It was over. His nightmares - the ones he had feared - came finally true.
"You were just a replacement..." Ryo's words echoed inside of his head.. Replacement..
He stared at the wall in front of him - shaking - , eyes emotionless. Ueda had always known that Ryo didn't love him like he loved Uchi in past, but he didn't want to admit it. He wanted to feel liked, wanted to feel needed, wanted to feel loved.. and now they were all lies, they had always been. He knew that this would eventually happen. He knew even though he didn't want to.
"Ryo, I love you..", he had said every night before pressing his head against his pillow.
"I love you too, Hime", Ryo had answered every time, kissing his lover's cheeks.

Ueda laughed a bitter, suffocating laugh at his memories. Maybe this was how it was meant to be; maybe he doesn't deserve to be happy, maybe he doesn't deserve the right to love, to feel loved.. but what did he do to deserve this? What did he do to deserve all this pain that made him wish that he had never born. "Maybe things would be better if.."
"UEPI!"
Ueda shifted from his position towards the source of the voice. He couldn't make it to see the comer before long arms intertwined around his shaking body, embracing him warmly. In the beginning of his and Ryo's relationship, Ryo had embraced him like this, kissed him, promised to be there for him forever.. Ueda moaned quietly and tears started to flow in bigger floods than earlier.
For love may come and tap you on the shoulder some starless night
"Uepi, what's wrong?" the voice whispered to his ear, the warm breath making him shiver.
"Is everything okay?"
Ueda withdrew from the speaker and lifted his head to meet the tall, handsome young man's understanding eyes.
"Junno..", he whispered and pressed his head against the taller one's built chest.
"He's gone, Junno.. it's over."
Junno nodded and pulled the elder closer. Sensational warmth proceed to the latter's body relaxing every single stiff muscle. "Everything's alright, Uepi, everything's alright.." he heard Junno whispering, breathing into the crook of his neck. "You can cry if it helps."

With just a pocketful of starlight
They sat on the floor embracing each other, Ueda sobbing quietly and Junno gently caressing the elder's back. Hand stopped, moving over to Ueda's shoulders pushing him gently aback. Ueda cried when the warmth against his body disappeared, but relaxed again when the hands found their way to his chin, lifting his head upward; every thoughts he had flew away when he felt warm lips against his own, hands caressing his back in a familiar manner. After a while Junno pulled back from the kiss and smiled genuinely;
"Remember that I'm always there for you.
I'll never leave you alone, except if you want me to go away or --"
Ueda brought his index finger to Junno's lips to silence the babbling man and smiled.
"Thanks Junno. I think I feel a bit better now."
