048 ♥ [Video] Ouch
[The transmission begins with the world spinning rapidly, and after several dizzying seconds it stops with a jolt and a thud. The video shows a lopsided panning view of the park, from the ground, and slightly obscured on one side by what seemed to be several blades of grass.]
[Ed is horizontally there on the screen, standing horizontal because the camera is on its side. She is looking curiously up at a large creature not three yards away, one of those invading Elites the city was warning about. Beside her, Ein growled and barked madly.]
Ed, get away from that thing!! Run! Ein, take her away!
[The magician enters from the video's top, one hand holding tightly to his left side as if in pain. His right hand was fisted over his head, and from it he hastily threw something down. The immediate area around the Elite erupted in a large cloud of grey gas.]
[Ed runs towards the edge of the bottom edge of the screen and Ein followed close behind her. A second later Kaito suddenly expels from the cloud, flying sideways, propelled forward in the direction of the camera as if he met a blow while his back was turned. There is a sickening crack as he collides chest first into a tree, and curling upon it like a human horsehoe, slides down the trunk. He doesn't move again.]
Kaito person!!
[Nearing the edge of the screen, Ed began to change direction towards where Kaito was. Ein, beside her, barked as he tugged on her pants.]
[The Elite emerges from the smoke towards them but stops as its side pebble with gunfire shot from somewhere off the camera's view; its plasma shield rippling in a transparent field of blue. Deeming whatever caused that to be more important, the Elite left the two alone to engage whatever shot at it.]
Kaito person!
[Ed begins her run towards Kaito again and Ein let go. While Ed moved to the down magician, the corgi ran directly towards the camera. For a second a black dog nose is all the camera saw, followed by a bark. The transmission is cut.]
