Suprisingly well, he must be used to a lot of nonsense going on around him. More interested in eating bits of my jacket.

I think his previous...get off, boy... whoever owned him before the last fellow (who seems quite pleasant and I suspect may have rescued him) might have been a bit cruel to him. His mouth is a little hard and there are marks of the spurs on his flanks. Poor lad.

El..

[[sound of a deep breath in the background, as if someone is steeling themselves to be as polite as possible.]]

Mrs Turner, how splendid to hear from you also. How does young Master Turner?

[sighs as someone would who has been through this several times already. Voice still maintains its cheerfulness.]

He is doing fine. Would you like to meet him?

The farm stables animals. I believe it's run by Clark?

Ah, thank you very much, young man. I shall have word with the fellow.

My friend stables her riding bird-thing there. No vampires that I've heard of. Good luck finding a suitable place!

I guess Equus is better than "that horse we haven't managed to kill yet."

There're stables. Just watch out for the vampires. Horses, that is. Well, horse and pony, really.

I should warn you sir, I am quite prepared to defend Equus by any means necessary. Even from...vampire horses...good lord, really?

Really. D's is kind of nippy. Not sure about the pony.

Thank you for the information.

Equus, my lad. We're going to the cathedral to get your bridle blessed with holy water.

You named your horse Equus? Like the play?

Re: voice reply heart0foak February 7 2008, 21:19:39 UTC
I didn't name the horse. The previous owner named the horse. He named it Horse, and so have I. And I'm afraid I haven't seen that play, young lady.

That's probably best; it's a very, very strange play.

My name is Sarah Williams - are you newly arrived?

A few days ago, Miss Williams, though I have been here before, previous to my untimely demise.

James Norrington, at your service.
