She heard someone coming and her first thought that it was Tomoe, after all who else would be entering into their home. She felt a sudden bout of anxiety then... Tomoe knew she was a woman, obviously, but she had never carried herself or dressed that way.
But... even if she scrambled now she was going to be caught... so she just remained in place, still holding the obi in her hands.
Of course... then she realized that it wasn't Tomoe.
She froze, staring at the double that had just entered the house, mouth agape. Her hands twitched, immediately thinking to go to her swords--which obviously weren't on her waist now.
What was this? What was this? Was this some kind of assassination plot? (Though if it was, their assassin was looking about as shocked as she was) It didn't matter--the first thing that crossed her mind was the fact that whoever this was (because it couldn't possibly be a copy of her, that was madness) had just found out what she'd been actively hiding for so long
( ... )
How in the hell did he know where she had the goddamn daishou hidden!?! She slammed into him once he was too close, closing one hand over the sheath and the other on the hilt--like hell was she going to let him draw.
"Who in the hell are you!?" she snarled, the calm and cool manner she had always held in battle falling away with the stress of trying to grasp what she was seeing.
