Aw, I'm sad you can't, but I COMPLETELY understand. That's why if I can't get enough people to come and help pay, it's an out for me too. Nothing in my life is the way I thought it would be about three months ago. What did I DO with all the money from that $12/hr job I had for FOUR MONTHS? Gah.
I fly to Texas for free >8D Just need a place to crash XD;
If it's December, Then there's plenty of time for me to save up some cash. We'll see in the coming months. I'm still waiting for you to arrange a trip to Ohio though. :O
I know what it's like to be under fire by angry customers. Hopefully it'll get easier for you in the longrun. But, hey, flying free! Ya gotta admit, that's a pretty darn good benefit.
I'm curious if you could find out something for me:
Do airlines like AirTran employ Japanese language interpreters, and if so, how much do they get paid?
And I know we hire Spanish interpreters by the dozens, but somewhere along the lines they WOULD need Japanese interpretors. Unfortunately, as awesome as our particular company is, they don't offer a higher pay for that capability which I think is one of their few downsides. However, I DO know that other airlines do, as well as other call centers. I've seen the base pay for translators at some call centers/airlines be almost twice as much as the normal base pay.

Funny, you cut your hair short, and mine's gotten long. Long enough to put it in a pony-tail. : )
Hopefully I shall see you on the AIM sometime.
