So since Cingular are a bunch of bitches (I'll explain later), what company is recommended by you, the people, for me to go to for a new phone? Keep in mind I have no credit/bad credit, and no credit card. Any info is useful

i have at&t and i really have no problem with them at all. they kinda merged with cingular so you have twice the towers which means twice the coverage. but you plan would still be with at&t.
i also hear good things about t-mobile. good plans for text messaging.
hope this helps... <3apple_girlSeptember 15 2004, 14:46:14 UTC
i've had verizon for over 2 years now, no problems... except the occasional dropped calls. (but the voice mail still works if that happens)
my plan is like $35 a month... i get 300 daytime minutes, and free nights and weekends, free mobile to mobile (aka IN), text messages are .02 to send and .10 to receive... i think, or you can get a plan for a few extra bucks, plus i got a free phone/connection for signing a 2 year contract when i got the plan, and another free one to re-sign for another 2 years just last week... if you want cool things like pictures and games, you have to get a nicer phone then the free one- but i just use it for calling people since we don't have a house line.
plus there are help lines 24hours, and they have stores all over- very helpful people. (at least i've found)
