So I haven' posted in what? 4months? Yeah well nobody told me that I would have absoulutely NO free time during my final year in Humber'sjournalism program. At times it's frustrating when all I want to do is relax for a few days, but for the most part it makes me feel as though I've truly accomplished something. hey! you're in journalism?! how ironic, so am i. but york doesn't have a specific journalism program so i've got to double major in communications and professional writing. i think it's safe to say you enjoy it? and congrats on the award :)

And yeah, I just graduated in April, it feels good and I do love it, but it's REALLY hard to find a job unfortunately.

York eh? That sounds good. I've been thinking of going back to school for public relations, but after three years I may take a break lol. What kind of journalism are you into?

scarberian? is that even a term? haha i say scarby but that's unnaturally close to scabby and people misunderstand me. yay, okay! i don't have any scarborough friends on lj. i many mooch off of communities for music and shows. hee :) doesn't humber hook you up with, like, a job? or co-op opportunity, even? yeah, york. first year i majored in english, 'cause i wanted to go into teaching it. but then i decided i wanted to do writing so yeah, i switched into double majoring in communications and professional writing for 2nd year.

eww hahaha you just graduated on program and now you want to go back? godspeed :p. i was really into the newspaper writing but broadcasting is looking REALLY good to me. but apparently, it's hard as shit to actually catch a break :(

LOL it's a term in my books! And yeah scaby souds a bit gross lol. A moocher eh? That's what the internet is for!

Yeah I did two internships at Humber. One at the Scarborough Mirror and one at the K-W Record. They were both pretty awesome, but The Record paid me so that was an added bonus haha.

Yeah I am a bit crazy, but oh well! And yeah I went print cause I hattte lugging around a camera everywhere. And with everyone in my class it was 50/50 in terms of jobs. A lot of people went out West, which is something I'm not prepared to do:P

the K-W Record? What's that for? Eeek, that's so great! And yeah, relocating is fun but not to western canada haha. unless it's BC. or Edmonton, 'cause there's a lot of money there.
