strange thing: i cut up a store-bought tomato and inside was a sprouted seed. little baby plant inside an un-opened tomato. my daughter planted it to see what it does

they should definitely flower, it's just the seeds may be immature. not if you don't get a frost for ages, though!

For green beans, you can start succession planting your next batch now, I think! Even though there'll be a gap, my guess is you'll still have more beans later on in the summer.

when our path grass got overgrown we used to borrow somebody's weed whacker.

i have 3 weed whackers out front. not one of them, at this moment, works. i have weed whacker issues. i managed to get one of them working yesterday for, oh, maybe a quarter of what i needed it for. then it stopped. it's just one of the many recurrent challenges i have in my life!
