The first poem I ever read by him, 'The Road Not Taken' kind of struck a deep sympathetic chord within me, and it made me think a lot about the choices I make in life. And, his poem 'Going for Water' just made me feel good for some reason.
I may have exagerrated about the 'favorite' part. Amy Lowell is better, to me, of the two.
Why don't you like him? Specifically and exactly. :)
Road not taken was a good poem- don't get me wrong...but when you had to spend two whole quarters reading his poems...it get's old. His poems were often about nature. One was about trees moving...that's it. But yeah...a few of his poems are good...but I just got bored with Robert Frost.
