I was wondering if the symbol relating to the person that bateleur released was the robot, can anyone confirm this?

No, it definitely isn't.

Nope - the robot symbol was there to begin with. David only entered the prison later, having been voted in on a poll. He was let out so quickly that I don't think tpitm got time to make him an icon.
