i'm kind-of a newbie in the world of jazz improv, but I love it. It's especially hard for a vocalist to train (no buttons/strings to push/pluck) or to gain respect (stereotypical assumptions). but it's worth it!

The best part of Mel Brooks "The History of the World, Part 1" is whilst on the run from the Romans, the group passes a blind beggar.

The guy is pleading "alms for Oedipus!" When he recognizes the voice of the black dude. The black dude turns to him and goes "Oedipus! Whassaup mutha fucka'?

Brilliant!
