Be a waitress! It's cliche, and the wages suck, but if you have self-discipline in your budgeting, then a few people skills later you'll find the tips can be very good.
Or start a window-washing business!

Thanks for the ideas! I actually may end up being (something akin to) a waitress, as it turns out. I have an interview with a little vegetarian restaurant today; and I've been polishing my people skills...
So does this mean you were serious about the window-washing?
Neat! Good luck on the waitressing and restauranting, I always enjoyed the experience. Until they made me manager. It paid a little better, but waitering was moch mur funner.
And OF COURSE I was serious about the windows. One oughtn't joke about windows. It's not cricket.
