half nelson was very good, really.
the second knock knock scene was one of my favourite scenes in cinema this year. along with the olive/dwayne field stop scene from little miss sunshine. and the chase scene in apocalypto and the pale man scene in pan's labyrinth and the buckingham palace scene in the queen and the cease fire scene in cildren of men and ... i should stop, no?

gah, i've had almost nil access to the movies released late last year.

3 burials? really? found it a little tedious.

and i thought blood diamond was extremely mediocre, though have changed my opinion of Leo's performance (from bad to ok) after seeing Cry Freedom to compare portrayals of Saaaffrikaaans.
