2. i asked you this earlier, now im putting you on the spot. you rule the world, you have a 1 point agenda: eliminate racism. tell us how.
3. do you like to dance? how good a dancer are you?
4. what do you like best about yourself?

Using my uber-cool "googling" skills, it's Thomas Hardy. Far From The Madding Crowd. Someone here wants to know too.

i thought of that too. but take iits or iims where the average iq would be in the range of 150, how many of them read anything other than their course material? not too many, i reckon.
in retrospect i think i should have said "i have generally found people who read to be slightly more interesting than people who don't. and i think it's important for everyone to be interesting. so..."
it's hard to define intelligence, harder still to define 'interesting' but then its meant to be subjective.

reference to mali: ali farka toure & toumani diabate revolutionised world music by ushering in a revival of traditional west african music, it kind of spawned a whole legion of extremely talented musicians from that part of the world and they gained much prominence. some really great roots music.

1. you're in front of a crystal ball. tell me what you see happening to yourself.

I'm calm. Surprisingly so, for one who is lost in the deep greens of a dense and seemingly ruthless jungle. I want to be there. That is where I want to die. That is how i die.

2. I had a good idea you'd like that song. why the obsession with the topic?
It's not an obsession. It's an unsolved part of my life. It's complicated.

3. Capital punishment? legalized crime or just retribution?
Retribution. Most definitely.

4. Better to have loved and lost?
Lost. It's a lot more challenging to find yourself than to be caught between the armpits of dear ones locking you in a grasp that keeps you from discovering the biggest parts of life yourself.

5. What makes you laugh your hat off?
Cartoons.
And sometimes, the half-drunk, half-silly atmosphere of having good friends around.
