They at least could have had you chew willow bark! That's where aspirin is made from! THE INDIANS KNEW IT, WHY NOT STUPID PIONEERS?

They DID have fever reducers, though. Stuff like laudanum and other opiates. Gets rid of your fever AND gets you totally high! :)
