I just made the Philosopher's Stone. The thing is I guess you have to use Eliza and no one else to make it, and it's 14 Fol too. And it's the only way to get Ansala to sign with you as an inventor. However, I can't get the awesome smithy known as Boyd, who can be found in the armory of Arias, because I can't win the Bunny Race in Gemity enough to ( Read more... )

Y'know, after they explained the character's origins and the actual plot of the game I sorta stopped playing. = ( Between the horrible team A.I. and the suddenly cheapened feeling plot I lost all motivation to play. So, I always wondered if the game picked up at all after that point. The only thing I really enjoyed about the game up until that point was Albel and his amazing sexiness and awesomeness.

You'll hafta tell me about it sometime. :3

Well, I still love the game, it's challenging and has a VAST AMOUNT of things you can create. And you kinda HAVE to invent things in order to beat the game since otherwise you get highly insufficient armor and weapons. Some of it gets kinda bad, and Adray serves absolutely no purpose aside from space filler unless you get him really leveled up, but the thing you have to keep in mind when choosing tactics for a character is the characters themselves. Cliff, for example, cannot act in a balanced manner without running away and resting up for longer than necessary because he's better at all-out attacking and uses battle skills that deplete his HP. Nel is perfect for acting in a balanced manner however because she mixed symbology and physical attacks.

Which parts would you like to hear about? :3

Yah, actually, I was reading up on the Wiki article and they basically said: "Adray is a completely original character who was not in the original version of the game at all, and was added primarily to increase the appeal of the game's second release.".
I never liked Cliff anyways, he always seemed like a doushebag to me.

But yah, in short, what happens after they reveal the plot about the "4th Dimension" and that the main characters were made as a countermeasure? Was there any more worthwhile events in the game or did it sorta trail off?

Well, I don't like Cliff much either, but he's alright. The story and the cinema scenes really did not include Adray at all except that he has an ending piece when you beat the game.

Well, there's the state of 4D space itself, Luther, and that's kinda all the good stuff unless you count the multiple endings. Though just recently was the first time that I've ever actually beaten the game. ^^;
