've seen that page before and have found it very useful. (Unfortunately, not all of the works on it would be in the public domain in the US, though anything before 1923 would be).
I may have asked this question before, but if I did, I forgot. Who's your favorite author?
I've never read anything by Max Lucado or John/Stasi Eldredge, though I have seen books by Max Lucado at stores. What do the other two write about?
Also, which of CSL's books have you read? I've read Mere Christianity, The Screwtape Letters, The Great Divorce, and The Chronicles of Narnia. (I also have Miracles, which I haven't read yet. Also, another book about Lewis: C.S. Lewis and the Catholic Church).
Should I feel bad, though, that I had already read through Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters before I had even heard of The Chronicles of Narnia? :-)
yes. you should feel horrible... NO, i guess not. i've never read any thing of lewis' besides chronicles of narnia. though i want to read screwtape letters
john and stasi eldredge wrote captivating snd wild at heart-these two books discuss what it means to be a christian woman (wild at heart is the "equivalent" book for men, its still on my reading list) and why GOd made you the way he did so the opposite sex would desire you, and just how different the world's view of true feminine qualities are from God' view of feminine qualities (once again, wild at heart goes into the same concepts from a masculine point of view)
john also wrote sacred romance, about how God is so in love with us, and why, and that we should be too... they really put things into perspective and VERY thought provoking
