I have been full of houseguests! well, that sounds like I ate them. actually, I only ate a LOT of food, which they (spec. Sunny and Meredith) inspired me to eat, at lovely places and in my home. I did not eat the houseguests themselves. but they are gone, and I am sad. we had a lot of fun. there was Savannah involved, with much beautiful walking ( Read more... )

Sounds like you had a blast!! Your photos from Savannah are gorgeous. I was hoping for more photos of your newly decorated condo *hint hint** Speaking of photos, what kind of camera do you have? I could only imaging how much fun it was hosting houseguests for the holidays.

This is the time of year when break-ins are at their peak. I'm glad that your insurance covered it. I'm actually surprised that everything was taken care of so quickly. If only other cities functioned that way.

Ugh. When my car was broken into (in the parking lot in my gated apartment complex in North Dallas) the perp left blood on the seat, after having smashed the window with his fist. Gross, gross, gross. This is, of course, after someone popped the lock on my car (in the parking lot of an upscale mall in Dallas) and stole only my friend's cowboy hat. Glad to hear it all worked out, though. :)
