8. Greed
Greed had brought them there, to that moment, standing in their shared flat. (Their home.)
Greed had made them want each other. (Made them willing to sacrifice families and friendships.)
Greed had brought them into the war. (They wanted a world of peace.)
Greed had made each want more from the other. (There was nothing left to give.)
Greed had forced distrust between them. (Lies, but how and why?)
Greed made Remus and Sirius turn from one another for over twelve years. (I must say goodbye, but I’m not sure how.)
