Today, Trillian was taking a break from her apple tagging and teleporting and gathering. She'd integrated the mapping Spock had done of the village into her teleporter, and her positioning system was now within acceptable variation. She'd also used the mapping system to create a sort of GPS that relied on the same principle, instead of satellites. That technology was working well enough to find an apple in the tall grass, and so she was fairly confident as she waited for the two police officers to arrive. She was going to demonstrate it for them, and then if they were interested she'd build them a few sets of tracking dots and hand-held locators. Right now she only had the one set - her prototype.
They'd be here at three, and right now it was just after one, but Trillian found her mind wandering. Unable to concentrate on the teleporter, she took out the disc with the Holosuite program, and began looking through it, learning the language - which wasn't so different from one she already knew, thankfully - and taking notes. She should program something to show Eli. But what?
