Birthdays are for celebrating [open to anyone she knows, gathering-style, backdated to Sat night]
Trillian wasn't sure how many people were going to show, but she hoped a few would, at least. It was her Golden Birthday, so while she normally didn't care she figured she ought to at least have something resembling a party this time. So there was alcohol (vodka, rum, gin, tequila, and plenty of things to mix it with), there were snacks (she'd made artichoke-spinach dip, guacamole, and fresh salsa to go with chips, and a few finger-sized sandwiches and wraps), there was music (Trillian had a very eclectic selection, including hits from all over the galaxy and things from after her time she'd heard here), there were video games (mostly Eli's)... she figured it should work out. And later maybe they'd all go to a club or bar or something. She was getting ready while Eli was setting stuff out (he'd taken a lot less time to change). Trillian was wearing a new dress, bought just for the occasion. She had shoes to match, but those were hardly necessary inside her own home.
