Let it go unstated: Adam was fond of Gabriel and somewhat dazzled by Annatar, but Cedric. Oh, Cedric. Young and vital, bloody sexy and able to clean up Adam's flat with the wave of his wand! When Cedric agreed to come over, well, Adam went into a tizzy of activity, finally deciding on wearing his sarong. Buttons? A few, but not many, haha!
And there was the little issue of Adam not being able to cook. Whoopsy! A call took care of that, though he was reminded that he needed to get a job to begin to pay down his tab. Whoopsy again! So he started music playing softly in the background and did one last check in the mirror before pulling open the door, doing his best to look come-hither. "Well, hello," he said, struck again by how good looking Cedric was.
Hmmm, tricky question. Adam looked away, his smile faltering for a moment, but only a moment, of course! "When I was very young," he said easily. No sense in talking about his filthy, dirty pervert uncle. "So I suppose I've had a bit more practice. But ... tell me." Two things, he wanted to know, unused to caring about such things. "Do you still fancy girls?" About the man with the blue eyes, well, that might wait.
"I've been attracted to women in all, yes." Cedric said. "I was so distracted in school, though, that I didn't really notice them either for the longest time." He remembered dancing with Cho at the ball. There had been an attraction, certainly. "And yourself?"
"Not quite, but I did well enough." There was always someone better at any given thing, of course. "I was what you might call an 'all-rounder'. I always did my best, though - always gave things the first crack at my time."
So many things Adam had never been. Hmmm. Anyhoo! The knock came to the door; food to the rescue! He excused himself to answer the door and bring in the cart. "I ordered Italian ... I do hope you like it," he offered, pulling lids off of bowls of pasta and sauces.
"Very sensible." Cedric said, selecting some pasta and sauce for himself. "Would you care for some bread?" He offered the small basket of sliced bread to Adam.
"Why thank you!" Wasn't this fun! Like Bernie's date except not out in the outback and Cedric was better looking than Bob. No offense, Bob. Adam took a piece and took a small serving of pasta. No sense in looking like he couldn't control his appetite.
Taking a piece of brief for himself, Cedric set the basket back onto the table. He had a few bites of his pasta, nodding at the flavor. "Really quite excellent."
"I expect you'll enjoy your first spring in the village - it can be quiet lovely, and there's the sea, of course."
"Yes, of course," Adam said, though he'd had no clue. Why had he ordered Italian? It was so splatter-prone. Oy. "And it gives one a chance to see handsome young men nearly naked, yes?" Wink-wink!
"There are? Well." Even better! Though Adam was the one used to giving the show. " You're adorable when you blush, by the way." It took a great deal to make Adam blush. A very great deal.

"May I give you a hand serving?" Always the polite Hufflepuff, Cedric was.

The small table was set with a candle burning.

Pathetic, really.
Adam twirled his pasta on his fork. "I've not been one for being outside much," he admitted. "Though I wouldn't object to some sunbathing."

"I do enjoy swimming, though of course one need go no further than the hotel's pool for that."
