Visitors [[ota]]
Zoe has never slept as hard in her life, as she did after giving birth. A nurse showed her how to breastfeed, and that was it. Once she closed her eyes, she didn't move for a solid eights hours. She doesn't even dream, or her body is too tired to let her remember.
When she does wake up, the first thing she realizes is that she smells flowers, and then she opens her eyes blearily, murmuring Wash's name.
Late in the day, after sleeping again, and another successful adventure in feeding Maya, both of them are cleaned up and ready for visiting. Maya is content to sleep in either parent's arms, only waking up to yawn occasionally.
