feeling human again [[ota, tag John]]
About ten days short of one month since Madeline's been born, Erica finds she needs a moment to feel put together again. She can't complain that there's a shortage of help and hands, but she still hasn't been away from Maddie at all and has let things like her hair fall by the wayside. So this afternoon, she leaves the baby with John and decides to simply get her hair cut and styled. It just so happens that while she's there, she's talked into an eyebrow wax, pedicure, and manicure.
On her way home, she stops to shop a little, for things like new tupperware (there might have been a five year old experimenting with plastics in the microwave) and a few things like soap for John, but she's not gone more than a couple hours. When she comes back, she peeks in on Angel first who's playing in her room, then unloads her arms before going to find John and Madeline.
